BREWERY TOURS AND BREW DAY EXPERIENCE

Our brewery tours are fun, informative and you get to taste our range of real ales.

During the tour you will learn about the history of brewing beer, see how craft brewing really has not changed very much over the years, and get first hand insight into the whole process from water conditioning to mashing in, wort treatment, hopping and fermenting. You will discover how ale is stored and conditioned and how making real ale differs from other types of brewing techniques.

There are three options to choose from:

1. One and a half hour brewery tour and tasting of our range of classic ales. £10

2. Brewery tour as above plus 4 bottles of May Hill Brewery Ales and a branded May Hill Brewery glass. £20

3. A full day hands on experience of the whole brewing process. You’ll be mashing, boiling and pitching your beer before being rewarded with a delicious tasting session. The day includes breakfast, lunch, a beer box or crate of beer of your choice and a May Hill Brewery engraved glass. £70

Guests are very welcome to use our picnic tables and enjoy the walks and views that May Hill Brewery offers.
